Farm: On the farm there is nineteen heads of cattle, four mules, twenty five hogs, and it is six miles from the school.

Dave: 10 siblings, the only one who has gone to high school, and he is the narrator.

Professer Herbert: He has glasses, and his hair is as gray as the suit he wears.

PA: Old fashioned, believes if you spare the rod you spoil the child, and he is very quick tempered. After  Pa found out that Dave had to stay after school he decides he is going to 'talk' to Professor Herbert but takes a gun with him. The next day he goes to school in his overalls, big boots, a blue shirt,  a sheep skin coat, and a black slouched hat. He is sixty-five years old and still whips his children until they are twenty-one. He doesn't believe in germs. He wont whip cattle and mules because they cant defend them selves but man can.

The Lady or The Tiger

What Door Will He Chose?

          Once the commoner picked the right door they slowly started to open. He shut his eyes as he waited to if there was a lady or a tiger behind the door. When he opened is eyes there was no one there. How could this be he thought to himself? As soon as he stepped foot in the amphitheater the princess called out, “ I am the lady!”
           A smile arose on his face. He had never been this happy. First, because he gets to marry the love of his dreams. Second because a tiger is not mauling him right now. He walked further into the amphitheater. He waited from the princess to walk down to meet him. She was dressed in a white dress and her hair was blowing in the wind. She got to the commoner and they rode out on a carriage together. As soon as they got back to the castle they to a walk in the forest. Along the way they stopped to have a picnic in the meadow. The commoner and the princess sat there a talked about their life plans. The commoner asked the princess why he was lucky enough to get to marry her and why he did not get eaten by the tiger.
           She answered him with, “Because you’re the love of my love of my life and I want to be with you.”
            They picked up the picnic and walked through the forest down by the pond. They picked flowers and had a glass of wine. The commoner got up to walk back to the castle and has soon as he stood the princess pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the stomach. The commoner fell to the ground crying in pain. Why are you doing this he called out to the princess! I thought I was the love of your life? I thought you wanted to be with me?
           The princess walked up to the commoner and whispered in his ear I do love you but if I don’t you my dad will and it won’t be pleasant. She sat there next to the commoner crying by his side. His eyes finally closed and the princess let go of his hand and slowly walked back to the castle in her now blood stained white dress and her make up running down her face. She said to herself my dad better be happy.

I absconded out of the restaurant so I didn't have to pay for the hundred dollar dinner.

The Cask of Amontillado

The Rise of The Skeleton

We were only a few steps away from the Amontillado. Montresor pushed me up against the wall and chained me to it. I fought for my life, pushing his hands away.  I just gave up there was nothing I could do he was stronger than me. Montresor started packing bricks around me. I just thought to myself I am going to die there is no way to get out. Just as I said that Montresor walked out of the door.

            As soon as Montresor stepped out of the door I heard a scream. It went silent, the walls started to shake, and I just sat there in fear. The bricks started coming out one by one. I didn’t know what was happening. Was Montresor coming after me or was there someone coming to save me?

            Bricks were falling and finally I could see who was out behind the wall. It didn’t look like a human at all it was dead and stood on bones with a sword in its hand. The dead human just smiled at me. He said to me, “ I killed your friend. Would you like to be free?”

            “Yes, yes please get me out of here!” I said to the skeleton.    

            The skeleton freed me from the chains.  As soon as I stepped over all the fallen bricks he started chasing me with his sword. I didn’t know what was happening I was so confused so I started running for my life.  I ran past the Montresor lying there on the ground with blood dripping, red poring out from his body. I looked back and saw that the skeleton was right behind me, so I grabbed a sword that Montresor had been using and cut the skeleton with it.  Bones fell off from his arms and started to chase me again. I ran as fast as I could running out of breath and my body sore from being chained against the wall. I ran and hid in a corner, and the skeleton ran past. I grabbed a bottle of wine and drank to a good life. The skeleton came running towards me with a knife at my heart. I feel to the ground and cried in pain. The skeleton just stared at me and slowly backed away to his tomb.
